Ron Tosolini - Director BA LLB
Ron has been a director of Kingsway since the company was incorporated in 1999 and is a member of the Lending Committee.
Ron was admitted as a solicitor in 1977 and has broad general experience with particular emphasis on commercial transactions involving mortgage transactions, preparation of security documents, property transactions, purchase and sale of businesses. Prior to the establishment of Kingsway he was responsible for supervising the mortgage activities undertaken by the legal practice.
Maintaining a key management role within Kingsway Group Limited, he has a detailed knowledge of all aspects of the operations of the business with a particular expertise in development and construction finance. Ron has extensive and well-developed industry contacts and an appreciation of the various factors that may impact on the residential construction industry sector.
Peter Baltins - Director BEc LLB
Peter Baltins has been a director of Kingsway since the company was incorporated in 1999 and is a member of the Lending Committee.
Peter was admitted as a solicitor in 1981 and has gained extensive experience in default management having acted for several regional banks/lenders specialising in mortgage defaults and loan recovery. Peter is a graduate of the Quality in Law course on total quality management and has been a member of the Best Practice Lawyers for approximately 10 years. Peter has expertise inland and environment matters, maintains active industry consultation with councils, town planners, builders, developers and other industry professionals which is of direct benefit in his capability and effectiveness in his role as a Lending Committee member.
Adrian Mattiussi - Director LLB
Adrian Mattiussi has been a director of Kingsway since the company was incorporated in 1999 and is a member of the Lending Committee.
Adrian was admitted as a solicitor in 1972 and has broad experience in arange of matters dealing with contracts, Local Council and land and environment applications. He has been a director of building and development companies and brings considerable expertise in residential property building and development.
Lou Polito - Director Dip.Law (SAB), SA Fin
Lou has been a director of Kingsway since the company was incorporated in 1999. Lou is a member of the Compliance Committee for the Kingsway Premium Income Fund and was involved in the registration of the Fund with ASIC.
Lou was admitted as a solicitor in 1978 and has broad general experience with particular emphasis on commercial transactions involving mortgage transactions, preparation of security documents, property transactions, purchase and sale of businesses and estate planning. Lou has completed a Diploma in Financial Markets offered by the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA), formerly the Securities Institute of Australia.
Mark Hearnden - General Manager FFin
Mark has worked in the finance industry for over 25 years having held senior management positions with National Australia Bank and Bank of New Zealand involving credit assessment, compliance and commercial lending. Under the direction of the board he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the business. Mark also holds the position of Compliance Officer for Kingsway and is responsible for maintaining a strict compliance culture within the organisation.
Mark is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA). Mark has been the General Manager and Compliance Officer of Kingsway since 2000.
